menu review: 9.4 to 9.7

tuesday:
grilled lamb chops in a guiness reduction sauce with roasted garlic smashed potatos and roasted asparagus with cinnamon.
mmmmmm.....this was so good. my husband says he could "drink this sauce" which is always a good recommendation. this tastes like fall to me, and the house smells divine when it is cooking.

wednesday:

vietnamese noodles with shrimp and fresh vegetables in fish sauce.
i love this dish. this sauce and hollandaise are my two favorites and i could slather everything i eat with one or the other. the fresh and raw vegetables in this are so crisp and refreshing, while the shrimp are sweet and tender. perfect play of flavors and textures.

thursday:inspiration
chicken marsala with mustard and marscapone
this is a great recipe. i make it at least once a month and i am always happy with the results. this is from giada's family dinners, and it's a great addition to any cookbook library. i have all of her books, and each one of them offers something special and unique.

friday:inspiration
pasta primavera with smoky ham
this is such a simple dish and so intense. the smoky flavor of the ham and the gentle bite of the dijon makes for a lovely compliment to the veggies and noodles.
